Applications and Fee

Particulars of Appellate Authority, CPIOs and CAPIOs is already given above.

All persons desiring to obtain information under this Act are requested to give their request in writing or through electronic means in English or Hindi accompanied with the fee as given below:

Under Section 7(1): (a)Copy of documents @ Rs.2/- per page(A4 or A3 size paper) (b)Actual charge or cost price of a copy in larger size ( c)Actual cost or price of samples or models; and (d)For inspection of records, no fee for the first hour; and fee @ (or fraction thereof)thereafter	Rs.2/- per page Rs.5/- per 15 minutes
3.	Under Section 7(5): (a)For information provided in diskette or floppy (b)For information provided in printed form/publication or photocopy for extracts from the publication	Rs.50/- per floppy Rs.2/- per page

Mode of Payment:

• Only in cash or Demand Draft or Banker cheque or Indian Postal Order, payable to Section Officer, Banking Division.

Note

: For prompt disposal of applications, persons seeking ‘information’ under the action on matters pertaining to RBI , Public Sector Banks , Financial Institutions , Public Insurance Companies, DRTs, DRATs, BIFR, AAIFR etc. are requested to approach them directly.

• Application not accompanied with the prescribed fee and in the prescribed mode shall not be accepted.
